debit card transactions not working

the new truist card I received was activated last night, used for two purchases, and then once I tried to use it again today it was not registering the card number. I had funds in my account so it wasn't declining purchases it just wasn't allowing me to make them in the first place becuase the card number wasn't working.

I am having the same issue....The first time I thought it was the terminal, then I tried an ATM and same issue transaction declined....now the same has happened to my son....and my husband.  We can't access funds to pay for anything, and the wait time to speak with somebody is over 60 min....RIDICULOUS!!  I have been a SUNTRUST  customer for decades, but this merger is grabage...if issues do not get resolved it will be time to look somehere else for banking....
