transfers outside of bank still not working

Clicking on "transfer outside of bank" gives an error message (pasted below) that according to the phone agent is a result of the transfer system being down. She could not say when it will return. This is not good for my business since I have to pay people and vendors.

We were unable to set up your Transfers Outside Bank of America service for the following reason(s):

  • SS28: Missing Information. Your business name is missing. 

In order to ensure the security of your personal information when you transfer funds to and from accounts outside the bank, this information must be accurate.

Same problem here, been trying since Monday. They told me they would implement an update yesterday night that would fix it. Guess what, it's the day after the problem is still there.

Same here. This is getting ridiculous. Considering moving to another bank after consistent bofa failures.

Contacted them today. They told me to try again after Nov 28. This is so frustrating. Anyone with this issue please contact them to express your frustration.

Same. I moved from Wells Fargo because they were so careless and had so many errors and they were unprofessional. BofA has been generally great on the professional and error side. I sure miss a great ATM interface. BofA ATM is slow and dumb. Wells Fargo ATM knows what you do as a business and defaults to the things you do often. .... Looking at Bank of the West. Other ideas? Chase? Who can do their job?

Same thing here, tried to transfer today 11-24 same error I called they said try on the 28 this is ridiculous to say the least.

This problem started last Sunday. No updates other than to go into the branch. Guess is they've been hacked either internally or externally. If this was a code issue, then the backup prior to the update should have been reinstalled. This is EVERY customer. I am a small fish in a big pond. Is ever CFO having to go into a branch or office to do a wire? BOA time to come clean before we file complaints and ask the bank regulatory agencies to inquire. You are killing my ability to pay vendors - I travel all over the world and need to run mybusiness on line. Especially wire transfers. I want to know what is going on. Then I can live with the delays.

I have been considering changing banks for years- no time like the present. I think this is crazy and shows how little concern this bank has for its customers.
