having the exact same problem.. yahoo puts up an "temprorary error 46" screen and then deletes my incoming email. I am so switching to GMAIL! It is embarrasing to write an email to someone and ask them to resend because yahoo deletes my incoming email.
I'm sick and tired of this message "We're sorry, but Mail can't load due to a temporary error. You can try again shortly or visit our help pages for ways to troubleshoot the issue. You know it's boring

It has been like this since last Friday and until today is still the same. This is my company working email HOW FRUSTRATING !!!! YAHOO - PLEASE DO SOMETHING QUICK

Having same problem with temporary error 46. Can't get email on my IPhone anymore, keep getting (MFMessageErrorDomain error 1032) whatever that means? Getting very frustrated.

1. It sucks -Yahoo duders keep changing the ymail interface each 3 weeks- and it sucks more and more everyday and gets worse and more unfriednly every day- are they morons or what ?
and this "temporary error 46" is pure bulls!*t
2. I'm sick and tired too of this message "We're sorry, but Mail can't load due to a temporary error. You can try again shortly or visit our help pages for ways to troubleshoot the issue" bla-bla-bla
3. The yahoo slackers don't have yet a solution on it - as you can see this 46 error ain't mentioned anywhere
I am going to finally have to leave yahoo to be able to get decent email service. Come on people - I just want to send and receive e-mails here. I miss being able to scan by page, what is up with temp error 46 crap????? I am wasting every day just trying to get this thing to function halfway. Should have asked yourselves - why are we going to break something that doesn't really need big fixes? Why not just "fix" what you had and leave it simple and straightforward. This stinks all over it and I am sick of it. I have to go around in 3 circles just to delete a message! Feel like my dog trying to find a spot to lay down. Errrrrrr. Get it right people.
BTW - I am usually a very calm, sweet, caring, person who is very patience. This has really hit my button.
I have been trying for 2 days to open some of my email messages. I keep getting a temporary error 46 code. There is no temporary error code 46 to look up to see what the problem is. Then I call Yahoo phone number and get the generic "Please stay on the line your business is very important to us" I would think at least after a few days Yahoo could at least come up with an explanation as to what Temporary Error 46 is to view on our computers. At least then the Yahoo telephone line wouldn't experience higher than usual wait times. I do not like the new yahoo set up for my email account I would think it should be easier not more time consuming!
I'm echoing the frustration over the error 46 note. I am presented with a warning, but if I wait, refresh, the mail does come up.
But it's very irritating. When do you expect a fix? Thank you.

I have NEVER had so much trouble with an email system.... going all the way back to 1992 !
I have left several email-providers for far less.
What is it? . you strong-arm us into using a local client to handle our email then, jerk us around by screwing up even the simplest tasks.
The client is clunky, confusing, difficult to maneuver and slow to respond, at best.
Your help-files are a joke!!!

I find your new e-mail system totally frustrating to use compared to the great one you replaced. Was this simply "change for the sake of change," or what? I am strongly considering changing my e-mail if you do not intend reverting to the former system! I totally agree with all the e-mail comments before mine. ALSO: What the hell is ERROR 46? I EXPECT AN ANSWER FROM YAHOO!
