This video is CLEARLY OUTDATED. A mandatory $20.00 Annual Fee now applies to all credit cards provided by Well Fargo, in addition to credit cards in the Wells Fargo "Rewards" program, which notoriously sucks. In fact Wells Fargo's silly reward scheme only pays out 00.4 cents for every 1 US dollar spent in accrued month-to-month debt, and they hide the fact it's currently the #1 lowest rewards payout of any credit card in the US. To top it off, Well Fargo is getting greedier and greedier, and in the classic evil bankster tradition of abject greed, Wells Fargo recently made an unprecedented level of severe cutbacks on their already low reward redemption level, putting their reward program into a category so worthless, it's absurd. Now, the maximum reward payout for $10,000 in credit card spending is a $25.00 Wells Fargo Visa Gift Card. That's it folks! That's all you get for spending $10,000 using their high-interest credit cards, not to mention the fact, if you don't redeem your rewards within 2 years (24 consecutive months) your points EXPIRE, meaning your accumulated points get FLUSHED to ZERO! Wells Fargo also enforces a dirty little hidden secret in their rewards program you will be hard-pressed to find anywhere on their website, points are based on a 'First-In, First-Out' basis, meaning, let's say it's been 24 months since you've been using your Wells Fargo Visa card, and you now have accrued 12,000 points, and let's say you redeem 10,000 of those points to get a $25.00 Gift Card, the initial 2,000 points you earned during the first few months of using the card will flush, because they were earned first, ahead of the other 10,000 points, so essentially those points are a total loss. There is no way to spend the remaining points until you spend all the points in front of those, furthermore adding insult to injury, there's nothing offered for 2,000 points, you have to make more purchases, then incur at least 35 days of interest-baring debt to accrue additional points in which to redeem them, before the first points expire/flush, then redeem them all at once or lose them down the drain, too bad, so sad, you snooze, you lose... No other credit card-based reward program does 'First-In, First-Out' point flushing, it's unique financial sadism used exclusively by Wells Fargo to punish it's users and make them feel worthless, and you won't ever know about this dirty little hidden secret until the first points you earned, the ones you were trying to save up for a measly $25.00 Wells Fargo Gift Card, suddenly FLUSH, point balance: 00.00 Sadly, Wells Fargo also reduced the overall value incentive for new customers by raising their 6 month Introductory APR, which is now 12.99.99% (interest for a revolving line of credit) where most other cards give you 6 months 0.00% interest-free, then 11.99% for the remainder of your use of the card. Furthermore, according to Wells Fargo's new policy of 'zero leniency' (read the fine print!) if you're accidentally late on any payment, even by 1 minute past midnight (PST, Pacific Time Zone) even if paying down your credit card debts online, you're charged a mandatory "$35.00 fee," in addition to your interest rate being raised to a punishingly high new rate, which will be the maximum extent allowable by FDIC law (26.99% as of 11/26/2013), even if your Wells Fargo Introductory APR of 12.99.99% hasn't expired yet. If you enjoy getting financially a!* raped, and further robbed blind on your worthless earned rewards of a/4th a penny per dollar spent, you should sign up for a Wells Fargo Visa with it's s!*t-stained rewards program, because clearly you're a glutton for being punished by financial terrorists, and likely enjoy bankruptcy court as well.
