Have placed dozens of walmart.com orders over the years with no website isssues, but today tried Google Chrome, Firefox latest versions, even older Internet Explorer and all three, when hit the Checkout button, get error message 'We're sorry. An error has occurred. Please return to your cart.' since trying four hours ago until now several times.  A Google search of the error message indicates that the Walmart website is down from past occasional reports over the months and years.

Am poster of message above, despite previous references on this Site Down to this error message, contacted walmart.com customer support via live chat, they found it is one of the items in my cart that was causing the error and escalating will take 3-5 days to fix.  Website works fine for 99%+ of items in stock, but scattered items on the website in one's cart causes this message.

Same thing, today, with me.  Hundreds and hundreds of things purchased successfully with Walmart.com. Today?  I can't buy anything.  Rebooted, cleared cache, no help from Walmart.com chat. :(
