Unable to select quantity, add to cart, and it logs me out when I try to.

I'm able to initially log in, and find the items I want to order, but when I try to add the items to my cart, I get logged out, and it won't allow me to adjust the quantity from 1.  It's like the site is in freeze mode.  Perhaps, everyone is returning items they bought, and that process is bringing down the site?
