No access code on receipt

There is no access code on my receipt. I just bought a 32 inch HDTV through the 1-hour guarantee, got home to register it online and found that the access code was not visible on the receipt. There are several different codes but none of them are the correct length to fit into the 22 digit prompt on the walmart website.

I bought an Ipad Mini tonight through the 1 hour guarantee and there is no access code on my receipt. I've tried calling customer service multiple times but it hangs up on me.

I experienced the same exact thing. I bought an ipad mini in Iowa. I got home and logged on to the 1 hour website and it asked for the access code. Guess what, no access code on my receipt either. Long story short, I called the store I bought it at and got a real nice and knowledgeable person from accounting. So after I give her the numbers on my original receipt so she could verify, she basically (over the phone) returned my purchased ipad and then rescanned it and paid for it with the cash she would have given me if I were there. She then gave me the access code and even the gift card numbers if I have a problem registering it. So now I go to register it and the site is down. What the problem is, the cashiers are supposed to scan the SECOND bar code which automatically will generate the access code thus printing it on the receipt. But, cashiers are not always doing this due to poor training or just ignorance. If this second code is not scanned, you get nothing proving that you didn't get the actual ipad when you paid. This is gonna be news, just wait. I just hope my access code works when the site returns. Hope this helped and good luck.

Did not receive an access code for the iPad mini and neither did my brother. We both checked out in sporting goods. No way to register it online. I called out local store but got absolutely no help at all. I have both receipts and both cards -who knows if I'll get an iPad and $100 gift card. Called the customer service number but they just hang up on me after telling me I can wait on the line for the next representative. Now what?

I have the same issue. Just purchased Ipad mini and no access code on the receipt. I called the store manager and he said he couldn't help me and to call the hotline 1-877-745-0190. It just goes to a message and then goes to a busy signal. Can't talk to anyone.

Terrible. Same issue here. No access code on receipt for purchasing ipad mini. Spoke with store manager and was told that TC# on bottom of receipt is the access code. Tried to use it on the website (after 2 hour wait) and came back as invalid code. Spoke to manager again, and he had no answers for me. I tried calling the 877 number, but I get a busy signal ...will not shop at Walmart on Black Friday again.

I went back to Walmart i found the fix to the issue. Their cashiers charged it wrong and scanned only the top bar code and didnt follow the directions on the card. They must void out your transaction and recharge you the correct way and it will print an access code on the receipt. The issue i foresee is that on the card it says the person using the 1 hour guarantee card has to pay by 2am. I don't know what they will do about the people that can't go back to get it fixed today.
