the site is experiencing technical difficulties - to to cart and try again - or go to the home web page. Trying for 2 days. Forget it - will buy somewhere else. Is this typical of Walmart?

I'm trying too since yesterday morning and when I click the "proceed to checkout" button the page starts loading but all it does is refreshes it...... is it doing the same to you?
Walmart sucks in everyway!!!!! My walmart associate login doesn't work, neither any of the "systems" they have set in place from the website to the store. They are cheap cheap cheap!!!!
I have been trying to check out for 3 days and the company just keep saying the site is Updating and should be in Service soon but that was 3 days ago 1111 what the bleep is going on ? if they can't get their up then I might have to find somewhere else to shop !!!! and I have been with Walmart for about 10 years, they have had problems but never like this !!!

hear me out, I logged into my account and it never let me check out so what I did was logged out of my account and added all the stuff I wanted to the shopping cart, procceeded to check out and now it loaded because it had to ask me if I wanted to log in or continue as guest; since I didn't want to risk it I continued as guest and it worked, My shipment has arrived and I really glad with it.
Yeah it sucks that you can't checkout with you account but for me as long as I can order stuff I'm ok with it. Hope this works for you guys, let me know anyway.
Thanks Alejandro after getting tired of calling and running into the same brick wall, I gave in and tried your way and it worked !!! I hated having to reorder everything but the monies that I saved by sticking with Wal-Mart was worth the battle. My shipment should be here by by the 13th and Wal-Mart is refunding the shipping charge for the Inconveince. Again Thanks for the Suggestion ! I had 72 items to divide up and Reorder, but again it was worth it.
