Ok guys, I have been digging deep and researching the issue. The websites server capacity is not large enough to hande the demand of citizens applying. web site is not down your just competing with a hugh number of other texans to get a spot on the server for unemplytoment, the part that comes after the entering of your social security number! The goverment did not prepaire for this and needs to increase the capcity of their servers.

So how do you explain when people are trying to log in at off peak hours between 1-4AM, and still getting the same message? I highly doubt its because of thousands of Texans trying to log on at these hours.
Exactly, tried at 4AM and still nothing.
Ok so when I go as far as answering ia question then hit next and it tells me to call and then it tells me the faster way is to do it on line and I go back to entering my user name and pw and it tells me to go back to calling etc etc
