Won't load even though I cleared history, deleted cookie, etc

Been down on Pinterest with a 502 server error since 3 pm this afternoon...What's going on? Will it ever be fixed?
Can't access Pinterest and my boards for hours.... why?? Can only think that their server can't handle all the activity ~ people and traffic, so may have to wait for Pinterest to come back up!!
