PS3 freezes when watching orange is the new black. Have to reset PS3 every time. I can reset ps3 watch another show then switch to orange is the new black and it will freeze. Has happened for two days now.
Same here! It froze 3 times in 2 days watching episode 7. I just got frustrated after the second time yesterday and turned it off but it just did it again now, same episode.
Watching arrested development mine has been doing same thing for a few days(ps3)
Arrested Development has been doing that on my ps3 as well, but when I watch it on a blu ray player, it works fine.
Episode 7 for me too. Shut down three times. If I pause the episode while it's in its epileptic phase, I can usually prevent having to restart my PS3.

The same for me, freezes on episode 7. I called Netflix but they weren't helpful...
I see "Arrested Development" as freezing on other comments. I have been having the same freeze issue while attempting to watch the show. It freezes the entire PS3 to the point where you have to power down manually or unplug the unit. When you restart it may play for 10 minutes and then lock up again.
Same thing happens to me. Can't find a solution...
PS3 Netflix OITNB ep 7 for me too. Needs a full restart and restore of PS3 and only let's me watch 10 mins max. Gutted!

Arrested development keeps crashing my PS3... On season 2. I agree with the poster above that says it can be saved if you pause in epileptic mode! Sometimes doesn't give you notice though. Hope it's not damaging my ps3. I'm on 500gb superslim ps3 - have even tried deleting and reinstalling the Netflix app. Doesn't work! This can't be a coincidence that we're all suffering this!

I've had it freeze 6 times over 3 nights. The frames flicker shortly before the issue occurs.
I thought my PS3 might be on its way out. However, I tested it by watching Top Gear for an hour and playing Gran Turismo 5 for an hour. Neither had issue. Arrested Development freezes within 20 minutes every time.

Arrested Development keeps freezing on me as well, no matter what episode. It starts doing like a skipping then it will freeze, if I push Circle to exit out of the show while its skipping, then resume, it will last a bit longer and do it again. Then sometimes it just freezes with no warning.
I contacted Netflix and they know of the problem and are working with Sony to resolve it. The problem has to do with Arrested Development and Orange is the new Black being "Super HD" - apparently when streaming of this much data has an occasional bug. The current workaround is to either lower your streaming quality to "Good" (in your online Netflix account settings) or to upgrade the PS3 hard drive.
Thanks for update. I don't get any chance to pause although that worked the first two times I saw it happening. Now it freezes the unit after like 5min max arrested development with no warning flickering. Just keep sending the crash reports and calling Netflix. And then quit both and go with Xbox and Chromecast!
I'm having the same issue while watching Ugly Betty, which I KNOW isn't Super HD, because it was made in 2006. So frustrating.
Hello I am also experiencing the same problem...Ive tried many different things but still no fix....audio keeps playing in background but screen freezes intermittently, I work for a local cable company and I am using a docsis 3 dual band gateway modem with 30x5 speeds, I have about 4-5 devices on wifi and about 3 hardwire which ps3 is one of the hardwire devices...I have simultaneously played the same content with netflix running on 4 different devices and the only one freezing is the ps3. Everything else on my ps3 is working fine....if anyone has found the solution to this problem please make me aware of it thx

I will watch a TV show, no matter which one it is, I will get through the whole show, and than I will get a black screen at the end instead of moving to the next episode on my ps3. I try to go back and nothing happens but the ps button works, so I end up having to restart after every episode or so. Sometimes it happens after every couple. This has been happening for a few days now, and getting really frustrating! Does anyone know the problem?
