Special effect summon

Hello good afternoon I'm just trying to sort out issues summoning divine serpent geh because when ever my cards get destroyed or die by battle I'm not getting any response chain for the summon it. I was originally running 3 but now it's currently at 1. I've done several matches but still no effect response. This is a crucial card in my alien reptile deck and I would love to have this issue fixed please.
