YES, I have also experienced this same message several days in a row on the credit card site: We're sorry. We are having some temporary delays. Please try again later."
The problem has existed for days! You can get to the homepage, but anything after that, and you receive a page saying that they're experiencing "temporary delays."
Their live chat doesn't work, either. I wanted to ask them what this ongoing problem is about!
I spoke with 2 customer reps a few weeks ago (one extremely nasty - no doubt from fed up from fielding all those complaint calls!), and apparently they are migrating web platforms - and those who did NOT go through the "proper" authentication process, were not migrated properly. It did not seem to affect full banking customers - only those with Citi credit cards w/o a banking relationship.
Thanks for the info! I haven't gotten around to calling them about it yet, simply because I figured I'd get some lame answer from them. Unfortunately, it seems they never advised people about this "proper" authentication process they mentioned to you. Maybe they're making a concerted effort NOT to let people know hoping to take in a lot of money in late payment fees!
