I am having the same problem. Have been trying to log in off and on all day with no luck. Even went to my BB&T branch and they said they were having problems, but it straightened up just as I came in.
What is going on with bb&t web site. I work in China and have not had access to my account for going on 20 hours. Is this just an international issue?
AS OF THIS MORNING 8 AM CENTRAL TIME STILL UNABLE TO LOG IN. LAST NITE BEORE I WENT TO BED DID A GOOGLE ON "NOT ABLE TO LOGIN TO BB&T WEBSITE" ONE PAGE I WENT TO WANTED ME TO USE MY SS# AS MY USER NAME AND THAT I WOULD CHOOSE TO RESET MY PASSWORD. SO FISHY TO ME. I DON'T THINK BB&T WOULD WANT YOU TO USE YOUR SS# ONLINE FOR ANYTHING. MAKING ME BELIEVE THERE IS SOME TYPE VIRUS GOING ON HERE. CAN'T ACTIVATE MY AVG VIRUS PROGRAM WHEN I TRY TO SCAN IT WILL NOT GO ON LINE DUE TO FAILED CONNECTION. I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO USE MY MALWAREBYTES IT HAS UPDATED AND IS PRESENTLY SCANNING AS I TYPE THIS POST. MAYBE IT WILL DETECT THE PROBLEM. I AM GOING TO CALL MY BRANCH BANK THIS MORNING AND SEE WHT'S GOING ON!
