I posted this before, but it's dropped down in the posts. THIS WORKS:
select sign in from upper right hand corner - do NOT use your saved log in
that takes you to fresh sign in page - select "forgot password" - then select "text me or email me a code"
BOTW will send that in text or email per your choice
once you enter code select "private computer" (if it is your computer you're on)
.....This lets you into the site (FINALLY!) and I guess installs fresh cookies; I've been able to get into the BOTW site just fine now. WHY doesn't BOTW let customers KNOW?

Nope, I've tried this more than once and it did not work unfortnately.

This has worked for me. You may need to have a code sent via text/or email, but it works!
Won't work when they lock your online access. Then their customer service line does not work. First they lock you out of your online access then they have no customer service at the number they tell you to call.
I called my local branch. I also called the regular 800 number. But hold times were crazy. Local branch had no ETA when it will be fixed. He was very aplogetuc.
