Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

My IE9 cannot access Bank of America either. This started last evening, that I know of. I can use "wget" to successfully collect the same page on the same computer. It is clear that I am not the only one. What is up with IE9? I am forced to install Firefox I guess. Some Microsoft browser problem or another forces me to do this a couple times a year. It is apparently time to remove Internet Explorer and keep Firefox. This sounds like a critical mistake at Microsoft--forcing customers to use alternate software.
