will not allow me to sign into mail

I haven't experienced this before but I can't sign into my account no matter what I do. It keeps telling me to sign up for AOL and I've had the same account for 5 years. What is going on...I don't want to lose important emails...Can't reach them by phone so what are my options???

is this a problem with aol or my computer? I can access aol but cannot sign in to access my mail. I can quickly access other things on the internet, but not the sign in page to get my mail!
