Can't send email to a @aol.com email

I do not have AOL, but am trying to contact someone who does and I've gotten Mailer-Daemon notices when I try to email her.

Emails sent to 6 aol addresses returned -delivery status=failed.

Same issue. All three of our business gmail accounts are receiving the following error message: The error that the other server returned was: 521 5.2.1 : (CON:B1) http://postmaster.info.aol.com/errors/554conb1.html

I just reached out on Twitter and they said they are "Looking into issues."

Can't get any e mails. Also trying to send in e mails ot AOL and getting Mail failures. Contact online in que 96 ahead of me. So it is absolutely down.

I have been getting bounceback to all aol addresses since approximatley 1:30 today (5/16). I am using gmail sending to aol. these are people I email several times every day for years so I am not blocked from them.

AOL went on twitter and said the issues have been resolved. Just tested it out and my email went through.

I have multiple clients telling me they cannot get me on AOL. Bounced mail Switched to Gmail account. I can send but they cannot respond to me.

Have received two "undeliverable" emails to AOL accounts from my yahoo. I'm in regular contact with both of these people. What's going on?
