Cannot get passed customs page!

I have been trying to create a shipping label and whenever I hit 'continue' on the 'enter customs information' , I get an

• We're sorry, an unexpected error has occurred

This is so annoying already. Been trying for days. Orders are backed up. I wish they would at least state on the website that it is still under maintainence or something,  instead of us having to waste time and found out ourselves. Then when I go to chat, no agents are available. I call and they leave me on hold for more than 1/2 hour. Please USPS, bring back the older version! I don't mind clicking through a couple of pages, as long as it works!
