I tried clearing out cookies as your post suggests. Sadly the problem came back for me.
Clear the cookies and the cache. Cache is the temporary files the browsers creates and stores on your computer.
Right. But that is not the source of the problem. The source of the problem is not in your PC. Its an intermittent problem on the Pandora server side. Tell Pandora customer support.
They are aware of the issue at hand, but for myself, and several other people, this is a solution that will make Pandora work for the time being.
