can connect to promotions.newegg.com subdomain, but not newegg.com

Was checking out the promotional email for the sale, and I can load http://promotions.newegg.com just fine. When I click on anything from the sale flier for more info or just try to go to http://newegg.com by itslef, it won't connect. Other sites load just fine (obviously, I'm here aren't I?) so it doesn't appear to be on my end.
