Movies will not load

Every time I log into Netflix, it takes FOREVER to scroll down, hover over a title, type in a search etc... Then, if and when I can get to whatever I want to watch (before Netflix just shuts down completely because it hasn't been responding), I get a black screen when I press play. It should be a red loading screen but all I get is just a black screen with zero functionality. Tried refreshing a million times, powering down completely, removing my battery, tried different browsers, tried deleting Netflix cookies... I'm at a loss. I uninstalled Microsoft Silverlight (that was a solution from Netflix) and they said when you go back to press play on any movie it will prompt you to reinstall Silverlight, but it took me back to the black screen again. HELP.
