Site loads a blank white page instead of Dashboard

I log in and instead of loading my Dashboard page, it loads a blank white page.  Refreshing does not help.  Hitting the back button gives me a 403 error or sends me back to the login page to start over again with the same reult.  I have tried about 20 times, and I have had this problem on other occasions.  My login credentials are correct.
