I don't have the luxury of NOT giving my clients an update like Intermedia is NOT giving us. Need some kind of detail and ETA now.

I couldn't agree more. I get much better info from SiteDown than Intermedia via twitter/SMS or any other form of communication. I referred my clients that use Intermedia to here for real time updates. intermedia has FAILED to communicate - on many many levels.
