Site simply not responding. In Firefox the message says "The connection has timed out." In Safari the blue bar just sits there. ALL other websites I visit respond as expected.

SOLUTION that worked for me......
The problem was actually my broadband connection.
Sounds crazy I know but shutting down my modem etc, waiting a wee bit and restarting them cleared it all up.
Totally bizarre as the ONLY site I could not connect to was eBay. ALL other sites worked perfectly.
Why it should need a reset of my connection to free up just eBay is beyond me but it worked. Go figure.
