cannot "proceed to checkout"

Tried numerous times last night, Black Friday, to purchase my items on Walmart.com but when I pressed "Proceed to Checkout" nothing happened. Now, the item I wanted to purchase last night, is $20.99 more expensive. I tried to purchase this a.m. and the same thing happened.
