A friend and I who are on vacation near Huntsville Arkansas bought a total of (2) Ipad minis, (2) 65 inch TVs, and (1) 50 inch TV that we received the 1 hour GUARANTEE PICKUP for.  We get home and try to register and got the TC# Not recognized error.  We tried back now that it has been 24 hours later, and still get the error... so we called the store.  

We spoke with customer service who said that this was done incorrectly and so we would have to come back into the store at a later date to pick up our merchandise... only one problem... WE LIVE IN DALLAS!  I then spoke with who I was originally told is the store manager name Mike (though later found out it wasn't the store manager, Todd Hunter was).  

Useless Mike, as we will call him, informed me that they have no control over their guarantee, and that despite the terms of the guarantee, the merchandise would be have to be delivered to the Huntsville Arkansas location.  He said that he had no control over this and that we would have to come there for our merchandise.  He also let me know that MANY MANY customers are having this problem from their store.

I informed Useless Mike that he does not want me coming into his store all the way from Texas simply because they could not honor a company wide guarantee as I would be EXTREMELY vocal and let EVERYONE know what they could expect... and I PROMISED he didn't want me up there after driving 6 hours.  
After this, Useless Mike turned into whiny pittiful Useless Mike stating over and over, "sir, you cannot threaten me".  Wait wait wait... so when I tell you that if I am forced to drive from Dallas to Huntsville Arkansas despite what I have in writing stating otherwise, that I will let EVERYONE in the store know what happened, and that's a threat???  Mike, Todd, or SOMEONE from the store need to get off their bums, call the corporate office and fix this for customers who chose to shop with them, rather than taking the cheap, spineless way out and hiding behind "you're threatening me" BS.  Fortunately for me, the conversation is completely recorded and I will be happy to share it with whoever would like a copy.  
Walmart WILL make this right, despite the lack of customer service that this particular crew possesses.
Useless Mike COULD have accomplished the same thing that I am sure I will tomorrow when speaking to corporate... Only difference... now I will tell everyone how horrible the customer service at this location is. 
Walmart brass listen closely... THIS is the type of CRAP that has made people everywhere absolutely hate your stores and your business model!!!
