Thanks, Phil. I did that and it got me nowhere. Actually, I may have solved it a different way. Using the clue that it may be a cookie problem, I opened my browser's cookie manager and noticed that the very first cookie was one with an extension having something to do with redirect. I removed it and Netflix once again recognized my sign in. Sorry I didn't write down the name of the cookie. It was about 4 letters and began with an A. The extension was something about redirect, which of course was what was causing the problem. It was just that one cookie.
