Very Slowing and Timing Out

I have been trying to place an order online for about 20 minutes. Any type of navigation throughout the website is incredibly slow and it oftens times out.
When it times out you are taken to a I'm sorry page that states there a high volume and please reload.
Totally frustrating , this is not happening when I go to other websites such target , old navy, gap, etc
