Can't retrieve email

Since last night, my husband and I haven't been able to retrieve our emails. We tried multiple iPhones and iPads (mail program on devices, XFinity Connect and at comcast.net). The message is misleading, saying our user ID or password is wrong. The web site gave a message that leads us to believe the issue is with Comcast's servers.  We know we aren't both entering incorrect login credentials, especially when some apps store them for us.
