THIS IS THE EASIEST WORKAROUND I HAVE FOUND FOR THIS PROBLEM: I've been trying to check out for TWO days now. Calling the "customer service" at Walmart.com yielded "must-be-your-problem" responses, all 5 times. (I'm a hopeless romantic in all of Life's situations and apprently a slow learner.) First, clear/refresh your browser and make sure you are completely logged out of WalMart.com. Add the item(s) to your shopping cart and begin the process of checking out AS A GUEST.  Once the transaction is completed AND provided that you use the same email (in your "guest" order) as your Walmart.com account, at the end of the transaction it will ask you if you want to save the transaction.  Select "YES".  It will then ask you to login to your Walmart.com account. Wah-lah!  Order done!  And for the record: I actually had a "customer service" rep suggest that I should go down to the local Walmart store and place the order there.  Wow. Brilliant.  Never thought of that........."Buehler.  Buehler.  Buehler."
