I've had the exact same problem for the past 4 days, and after numerous calls to both Netflix and Microsoft, i finally got someone from the Microsoft support team to help...they had me go into my DNS settings on the console, switch it from automatic to manual, and use the DNS server numbers as follows: for the primary address, use 4.2.2.1 and for the secondary address use 4.2.2.2....did that, saved them, restarted my console, and now Netflix works.
