no correct date format for registry

I'm trying to make a gift registry, but no matter what date format I put in, it keeps rejecting it. Ex 12/25/2013, December 25, 2013, 12-25-2013, 12-25-13, 12/25/13 any format I use, it says:
We're sorry, there is a slight problem with your information (see below).
- Please select a valid date
I'm very irritated with this as I need to get this done ASAP!!!
