After many years of using and visiting Craigslist, today (11/28/2015), when I clicked on a link on the Los Angeles Craigslist I was re-directed to a black white page with a brief text message to the effect that 'my' IP address has been automatically blocked.
I have maybe five postings, most os which have probably expired. The same ones I have been using for several years. This is baffling and of course disturbing, since I need to advertise apartments at the building I live in and run on Craigslist.
I send an e-mail seeking clarification to the address given in the 'blocked' notice, but a number of others on the 'Net in the same circumstances say their similar e-mails have not been answered.
It is hard not to feel that C/L is being extremely high-handed and even hostile.
