Unable to checkout since 8/11/2013 - "No known issues," per Walmart.com response

Unbelievable. I have attempted checking out several times, both as a "Guest" and then by signing in, since 8/11/2013, and every time over the past three weeks that I've tried I receive a "Site Error" message requesting that I "Reload" the page due to high activity, so I click Reload and I again receive the same Error message. So, I took my business elsewhere but contacted walmart.com a week ago and referenced the sitedown.co site which clearly shows there is a checkout problem for many people; they replied that there were no known issues and suggested that I call the 800# to place my order. So, I guess they will lose my business to Amazon again.
