unable to either Re-Pin or Edit own pins

everytime I attempt to re-pin something of interest - the folowing message appears: 'whoops something went wrong at our end' OK ... it also happens when attempting to Edit my own pins... this has happened all of the day and quite honestly I am getting P'd off with Pinterest... no message from the Pinterest site to say why this is occuring all the while.
