website keeps logging me out when I try to pay bill

messages show that website maintenance occured Sunday morning, but I've been trying now for 2 hours on Sunday night (early Mon morning). It allows me to log in and I see my account and balance and when I try to select Pay bill or anything in that category.. it logs me out (and says "its been a while since you visited the site".. paraphrased despite the quotes)...
