Comcast 2013 0328 For over a year I have downloaded my email from my Comcast account into Windows Live Mail. I usually receive 10 to 20 emails a day. I have my Comcast username and password in WLM so login and download of email occurs automatically when I open WLM. For the last 3 day I have not been able to down load any email from Comcast into Windows Live Mail. I receive an error message indicating the wrong password has been entered. I can still access the Internet through Comcast. This morning (Thursday) I started to investigate the email problem. After accessing my account on the Comcast web site I discover that my mail has be going to the email system in Comcast not instead of WLM. Some of the email was over a month old. After maneuvering through he Comcast phone tree I was connected to a woman in the Philippines (May). She told me "we are a fee based Comcast affiliate" and that I need to sign up for the technical support service at $14.95 per month if I want help solving my email problem. When I continued to request a solution to my email problems the woman disconnected me. A second call to Comcast technical support connected me to Amiee, again in the Philippines, who said the account access system is currently down and I need to call back in 30 minutes.
