Hi Bill, I suspect that AOL have been through their terms of service and made changes that could affect many accounts esp older ones like ours.
This is a new message coming up on the start page for logging on to AOL [ICQ mail portal]
"On July 28th, AOL published an updated version of its Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. By continuing to use AOL's online properties, you agree to these updated documents, and you and AOL agree to resolve disputes by arbitration."
Try looking at thaty and see if it helps you figure out what to do.
I just kept sending mail to the help centre till it came back with the new message.
It may be that your use in the past or location[s] didn't map out with their policy and they don't want you back due to this [worst case]
Just a guess at what may be going on with them.
Very bad for the innocent but typical today of many interactions using IT and remote support.
