Will get confirmation of purchase but account shows charge failed

I was able to buy one of the Starbucks deals and was able to complete my purchase, even got my CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR PURCHASE message, but when i went to check under MY GIFTS, it says the charge had failed-- so I actually didn't get anything... :(
