Will Not Honor Promo Items

I have been trying to purchase the Nook Simple Touch with $30 Walmart Gift Card since Monday. Every time I try to confirm my order, I am rerouted to a page that says, "We are having temporary difficulties arriving at the destination you requested."
I tried multiple forms of payment and different browsers.
I called support at 1-800-966-6546 (press 5 at the menu to get a real person) to place the order with them. She was unable to do so and told me to try the site again later.
As a test, I then went to order the Nook Simple Touch without the gift card -- the order went through immediately. To everyone who is having difficulties, are you ordering special sale/promo items? Walmart.com will not process orders with promotional pricing.
