Couldn't use the ATM or the automated phone system

I tried making a deposit over and over, but the machine kept refusing the transaction, giving me a message that "The account selected is not authorized" or "Transaction selected cannot be processed". I tried over and over, also from another ATM. I was given the choice of 3 checking and 3 savings accounts (I only have 1!) but no matter what I chose, I was not successful.
I then tried calling customer service, but the automated system wouldn't recognize my debit card.
