Paid City taxes at Peoples Bank - receipt given to me. However, the payment was not applied to my City of Bridgeport account, and I received a Delinquent Bill with interest. This, in turn, affected my car registration, which I paid, but was not accepted because it showed the car taxes as unpaid. Now car registration is showing expired, issue is still unresolved. No notice was sent by Peoples Bank that there was an issue or by the City of Bridgeport. This is a hugh problem, and a travestry.
