Can't check out, can't add items to bag

Can't check out, can't add items to bag, getting error message "Sorry, we are having trouble with the system." "When calling customer service at 1 (888) 888-4532, the automated system says "Due to system issues, we may be unable to assist you with your call."
Following instructions to "place an order" over the phone, told by the automated system that the service is experiencing issues and can't take calls. Tried adding items or checking out whic failed in Chrome browser, Firefox, and Edge browser.
