Cannot login or check out - cart keeps emptying itself

Since yesterday I have been unable to make a purchase on their website. Add items, log in to check out and poof it all falls out of the cart. Or hit check out and poof all the stuff goes away and I get an error message advising site is down. For 2 days!!!
