Cannot login, partial workaround

Getting the same "server not sending any data" message as everyone else. Site is clearly still up though according to several testing websites. Previous workaround of bypassing the netflix start site seemed promising, but ultimately did not work
What has worked for me was to turn on Expat Shield (http://www.expatshield.com/) which is a program that assigns you a UK IP address regardless of your location (many people in the US used this program to watch the excellent BBC streaming coverage of the 2012 olympics). Turning it on allowed me to get to the netflix start site no problem. I even noticed that the UK instant streaming netflix site seems to have a few titles that the US site doesnt, like the newest episodes of Breaking Bad!
