You're not the lone suvivor, yet. I've tried Chrome and Firefox.  I've manually updated Widevine CDM. Disabling WCDM in Firefox on Windows yields the same behavior (was error 2004, now black screen).

Modifying the User-Agent doesn't help.

I've been back and forth with their "tech" support.  Latest response was "Thank you for getting back to us. We do apologize for any confusion. Linux Operating System is no longer a supported system for CBS All Access. For a full list of supported devices, just visit cbs.com/devices."  I tried to explain this was affecting embedded devices also, like FireStick and some SmartTVs.  They don't seem to get it, or don't care.  

Others have stated that the CBSaa channel through Amazon Prime Video works, if you have Prime.

I'll be canceling my subscription before the auto-renewal.
