To clarify:
Android is an operating system, it's not a mobile device. So, one would say: "if you have an Android device...", or "if you have Android OS...". Saying: "if you have an Android..." is synonymous to saying: "if you have an iOS..."(Apple's mobile operating system). I hear a lot of people use Android to describe a mobile device, as a whole, incorrectly all the time. There are many hardware vendors that load Android OS on their devices from factory; however, a device manufacturer may be HTC, or Samsung. Whereas Apple is the device manufacturer(iPhone X) , iOS is loaded onto the device. Just wanted to help you all out since some people frown upon nomenclature ignorance.
