Site opens but will not load searches or navigate anywhere

Kohls website has been down for two days now. Unbelievable!!! Ironic that it is during the fourth of July sale. The site opens but the search function is inoperable and the site will not navigate anywhere. Is it that they have not structured their site to support the amount of traffic they receive. For a large store like kohls, it is inexcusable that their site has been down this long. They should have had it operable again within a few hours, but that is not the case. I still can't use the site. It always shows an error 97, no matter which browser I use. I googled this subject and there are many complaints dating back several years.
