I keep having problems buying from walmart online, but they are the only store that has the item that in need. My cards work fine at other stores without a hitch, but I can't ever get it to work at the walmart site. This is why cash shouldn't go away, companies can deny your card payments for what seems like no reason at all or maybe any reason. Imagine if this happens to people in person! We need an alternative like bitcoin/cryptocurrency to pay for items without getting blocked becuase the company chooses to block us. This doesn't happen with cash, and shouldn't be such a common problem with credit cards!
